On 21st April in Facebook’s F8 developers conference the CEO of facebook Mr.Mark Zuckerberg announced that they are going to launch Open Graph Protocol. Mark Zuckerberg quoted Open Graph Protocol as “the most trans formative thing we’ve ever done for the Web” and he also added that “People can have instantly social and personalized experiences everywhere they go”.
The Open Graph Protocol allows you to interact various web pages with social graph. Usually this facility used in Facebook to enable same importance of web pages as Facebook pages. When the web pages which represents any profile, films, team, organizations become a rich object people can easily build connection from search result or news feed with the pages like Facebook pages through open graph.
Zuckerberg explained that many different applications exist in all over the web. This technologies works differently but if these all connections bring together in Facebook then “we can create a Web that’s smarter, more social, more personalized, and more semantically aware”. Open Graph’s goal is to make this possible. So if Open Graph clicks it could be better than news feed which Facebook launched several years ago.
